Founded in 2012 by Jeff Nielson
with bassist
Simon Malcolm,
SIC'MACHINE gained a fast & furious reputation in northern
Alberta & the BC Peace region as
a premier rock cover band.
They were well known as the band that "took an arena-style rock show & crammed it into a bar".

Their over-the-top show literally transformed every bar they played at, complete with trussing, a multitude of stage & drum risers & a light show and entourage that was unheard of for a regional band.
In addition to their band management, they toured with their
merchandise manager 'Hollywood', 2 security hands, Tank & Bam-Bam,
and up to 4 people on their sound & light crew (including 2 follow-spot techs).

In May of 2014,  the physical work of hauling a full PA, light show, trussing & stage risers, began to physically wear down Jeff & the band.
By the end of the year, Jeff decided to completely strip down the show
and move it to an original works project.
However, this new direction was a challenge as not all of the band members had the desire
(or time commitment needed) to be writing originals.

With his lyrics ready to go, Jeff had no alternative but to scrap the
current band lineup &  find himself a writing partner.
Soon after, he began meeting with an old touring mate (guitarist Brian Maricle of Dirty Tricks)
to collaborate with him on new material.
Although currently off tour, Jeff continues to write.
